Creating Business Value
The Business Model
Knowing where and how value is created in your organisation is the starting point on the path towards profitability and growth. The first step along this pathway is to generate your business model in a visual format so you can see how value is created, captured and distributed to your customer segments. We use nine (9) building blocks. MKA Partners' proven business tools provide an efficient way of building each of the nine blocks. What would ordinarily be available only to high paying corporates is now affordable for small and medium sized enterprises. Size is not an issue.
Developing & Implementing Strategy
Understanding the external and internal nature of your business precedes making decisions about future direction. To reach this decision point and to make the decisions about future directions MKA concentrates management focus using a range of business tools to complete the exercise efficiently.
Future direction may now be broken down into key objectives and measures covering your organisation from top to bottom. Only when this point is reached can strategy be developed into meaningful allocations of resources which can be further translated into detailed action plans. Risk assessment now follows in an iterative way changing strategy and actions according to the risk appetite of your organisation. Governance and compliance issues are also assessed at this point using appropriate filters. Whilst described sequently here the processes are usually integrated into one activity.
Every action forms part of a hierarchy of objectives and measures cascading like a ping-pong ball down a series of steps then bouncing back with reported results and adjustments for going forward.
Change Management & Culture
MKA Partners define culture in terms of experiences, beliefs and actions. So by definition culture produces results. Your current culture produces your current results. If you stay locked in that culture your results will remain pretty much the same. That is not necessarily saying your culture is bad. Simply put, we sometimes do the same actions over and over again but somehow expect a different result.
If you want different results then you will need new actions, new beliefs and new experiences. So if you carefully determine what results you want, MKA can assist you to define the needed shifts in the way people think (beliefs), the new actions that will provide them with new experiences that in their turn help them adopt those new beliefs and actions.
MKA Partners facilitate the development of action plans with your management team using specialised business tools. The needed shifts in thinking begins.
MKA Partners assist leaders to use culture as a powerful tool to produce results.
